9. BROWSER EXTENSION

The ClawExperts Co-Work browser extension lets the AI agent in your workspace work in browser tabs you choose to share with it. It does nothing until you connect it to your account, and it never operates a tab you have not shared.

What the extension sends us

  • Content of tabs you share. When you share a tab with a workspace, the agent can read that tab's text, structure, links and screenshots of it, and can click, type, scroll and navigate in it. This is what the agent needs to carry out the task you gave it. Because you choose which tabs to share, this may include personal information or personal communications.
  • Your open tab list. While the extension is connected, it sends the address, page title and active state of your ordinary open tabs, including tabs you have not shared, so the extension and the web app can show you which tab you are about to share. For tabs you have not shared we receive only the address, title and active state, never their content.
  • Device and connection data. A device identifier, your browser's user-agent string and the extension version, so we can authenticate this browser and support you.
  • Agent activity. Which commands the agent ran against which shared tab.

What is never collected

  • Tabs in Incognito windows.
  • Browser-internal pages (chrome:// and similar), extension pages and the Chrome Web Store.
  • Your saved passwords, autofill data, bookmarks, downloads, or your browser's history database.
  • Anything from websites through injected scripts. The extension requests no permission for the websites you visit and injects no scripts into them.

The pointer overlay

While the agent works in a shared tab, the extension draws a small arrow in that tab so you can see where the agent is clicking and typing. It is drawn locally in your browser, collects nothing, and can be switched off in the extension's settings.

What we store on your device

The extension stores your device credentials, the record of which tab groups are shared with which workspace, and your pointer-overlay preference in Chrome's local extension storage. Uninstalling the extension deletes all of it.

Your control

  • A tab is shared only while it sits in that workspace's Co-Work tab group. Drag it out, or click Un-share this tab in the extension, and access stops immediately.
  • Disconnect in the extension's settings revokes this browser for every workspace at once.

Where shared tab content goes

Content from shared tabs is processed by the AI model providers we use to run your agent, acting as our service providers under contract. As stated in section 2, it is not used to train AI models.
